Overview
ArcelorMittal Gandrange is one of Europe’s leading producers of wire rod. It produces a large range of long products, including wire rod, bars and billets of various sizes, for a variety of applications. ArcelorMittal Gandrange steels are employed extensively in the automotive, construction and engineering industries. Its products are marketed principally to customers in the primary processing industries for highly diverse uses – such as wire drawing, cold heading, bright drawing, tyre reinforcement, forging, springmaking, shock absorbers and free cutting.

ArcelorMittal Gandrange has achieved ISO 9002, EAQF (Supplier Quality Capability Evaluation), QS 9000 and ISO 14001 (environmental protection) certification both for its production plants and its commercial department.

• 160 tons twin shell electric arc furnace (150 MVA – DC) with capacity of 1.5 million tons/year
